Class 10 student gangraped in Haryana village

A minor girl was reportedly raped by a man from her village and his three friends in Khanpur area here, police said on Saturday.

The victim, a class X student, complained she was returning home on Friday after visiting her sister when one of the accused gave her lift on his bike. But instead of dropping the girl at her home, he took her near Panipat Mod, Khanpur station in-charge Kavita said.

There, Krishna, who is from her village, along with his two friends, was waiting in a car, Kavita said, adding they took her to a field and raped her.

The next morning, they dropped her in Sainipura village and escaped after threatening her, she said.

An FIR has been registered against the four accused, the police officer said.

The medical examination of the girl was conducted, she added.
