The minister is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Indraprastha Apollo hospital and his neurological condition remains to be the same, according to the doctors treating him.

Dasmunsi, 62, was shifted to the Apollo hospital from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on October 20 and admitted in the ICU under the care of neurologist Dr Vineet Suri.

He had been admitted to AIIMS following complete left ventricular failure on October 13. The minister was resuscitated there before being shifted to the cardiac care unit of Apollo hospital.

“The minister was discharged from AIIMS and moved to Apollo hospital as his family wanted to shift him for further treatment of his neurological condition,” Dr D.K. Sharma, Medical Superintendent of AIIMS, had said.
