One person died in house collapse in the district, they said.
Adilabad and East Godavari districts have reported four deaths each, followed by Khammaam and West Godavari (3 each) and Warangal (one), the sources said.
Five districts of East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Khammam have received excess rainfall during the last four days and agricultural crop in about 40,000 hectares had been damaged, they said.
Meanwhile, the Met department officials here said a fresh low pressure area is likely to be formed over northwest and Bay of Bengal by August 9.
Rains are likely to occur at a few places over north Andhra region during the next 48 hours, the weather office said.
