A team has also been placed at the Attari railway station to screen people coming from Pakistan on the Samjhauta Express. The dengue outbreak in Pakistan’s Punjab province has killed 25 more people in the past two days, taking the death toll to 80.
Amritsar civil surgeon Dr Avtar Singh Jrewal said, "Dengue is a major concern and we are taking no chances." Thousands of Pakistanis come to India through this area.
