Addressing people at the janata diwas at Handia tehsil here on Wednesday, the DM said the State government gave top most priority to public complaints and no laxity should be committed by the officials.
He directed sub divisonal magistrate Ajani Kumar Singh to launch a special drive to remove all illegal constructions on ponds and chak roads in Handia tehsil.
Apart from revenue related complaints, the DM forwarded all complaints to respective officers immediately.
On the occasion, SSP Vijay Singh Meena ordered police station in-charges to dispose of complaints immediately.
On the complaint of dysfunctional hand pumps in two primary schools, the DM asked deputy BSA Vimla Vashita, to provide him the present status of all hand pumps installed in primary schools in the district.
UPPCL officers were also instructed by the DM to install a new transformer in the village where transformer was stolen a few days back.
Besides officers, several public representatives were present on the occasion.
