The two-member fact-finding team, comprising Adviser KJ Rao and Principal Secretary Ananth Kumar which went to Chapra, is likely to submit its report to the Commission on Saturday, EC sources said.

The team had made an on-the-spot inquiry on Sunday and Monday following complaints from BJP of large-scale rigging and violence in the high-profile constituency which saw a tussle between Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy and RJD supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav.

Samajwadi Party and BSP have also come out in support of BJP in demanding repoll in the entire constituency.
