Injury-ridden England on Saturday decided to fly in 'A' team members Alastair Cook and James Anderson as cover for the Test and one-day international series against India.

Cook and Anderson, who were withdrawn from the 'A' team's tour of the West Indies, would join the seniors' team on Sunday in Nagpur, the venue for the first Test starting on March 1, England's Media Manager Andrew Walpole said.

Walpole, however, said none from the touring party here was returning home.

England have concerns over skipper Michael Vaughan, suffering from soreness on the right knee which was operated on after he withdrew midway from the Pakistan tour in November-December last year.

Vaughan missed the three-day tour match against a Board President's XI at the IPCL Sports Complex here.

Three other players also were forced out of the match with fitness and health problems.

Fast bowler Simon Jones and spinner Shaun Udal were down with an upset stomach and Paul Collingwood was yet to recover from a back spasm that afflicted him during an earlier warm-up tie in Mumbai last weekend.
