The first Fashion TV bar and lounge in the city (the second in the country after Bangalore), it used to be the place to be seen at, but the city's young and restless crowd have deserted it for Olive Bar & Kitchen, the current flavour of the season, which got its alcohol licence some time back. But the bar has its pluses - an extensive cocktail menu packed with flavoured tequila drinks and shooters; a decent wine list with all the major supermarket labels (Cape Mentelle and Hardy's from Australia; Ernest & Julio Gallo from California); and a menu with a strong Thai component - though it covers all bases, from Hummus to Chicken 65 - designed by the Duggal sisters-in-law. Our favourites are the Crispy Prawns with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce for snacks, the Thai curries and Saag Gosht with Malabar Parantha.

Our verdict: It's essentially a destination nightspot. The first-floor lounge, guarded zealously by a beefy bouncer, has low-lying divans for you to sink into; downstairs, the island bar area and dining space merge seamlessly into one another; the terraces on each floor overlook the lush green golf course. Note: Couples have to fork out a cover charge of Rs 1,000, redeemable against food and drinks; stags aren't allowed on weekends; on weekdays, groups of single men can enter only after coughing up Rs 1,000 per head, redeemable against food and drinks.
