The filming of Sudhir Mishra’s Dil Darbadar on Sunday created much excitement in Old Delhi.

On Sunday afternoon, Old Delhi was buzzing with excitement— after all, shooting for a Bollywood movie was taking place. The film in question was Sudhir Mishra’s

, and shooting took place in areas around Jama Masjid and Matia Mahal. Interestingly, even some of the locals were involved in it, as the director hired them for small roles.



As expected, star-starved

blocked the roads to catch a glimpse of the action. People had climbed onto roofs or were peeping out of their windows to get a glimpse. Whenever the crowd became too noisy, the film’s assistants would shout ‘Hush’ and there’d be pin drop silence. 20-year-old Naseem, who was one of the ‘spectators’, said, “We are all behaving properly so that lots of Bollywood movies get shot here and we get to see shootings every Sunday.”
