We face a do-or-die situation. With a win, we can keep our hopes alive for title after suffering a heavy loss to Australia and a victory against Malaysia.

India have so far excelled only in patches. Defending champions Australia have garnered nine points and have ensured a semifinal berth. Pakistan have six points from two wins and one defeat. Consequently, the clash will virtually determine the qualifiers from Pool A. India have a minus two-goal difference (5 for and seven against). Pakistan have a goal difference of plus 5 in three matches.

The Pakistan officials have been quoted that they are treating CWG as part of their preparations for the next month's Asian Games.

We have to display team spirit and leave behind the humiliation we have suffered at the hands of Australia. We have to reorganise their strategy and plan for survival. Both teams will be under tremendous pressure and the mental toughness will play the vital role in the clash of Asian style of hockey. Hawkeye communications/Chivach Sports
