Five CRPF men injured in grenade attack

Five CRPF personnel were injured in north Kashmir’s Sopore area when suspected militants hurled grenade on a security installation. HT reports.

Five CRPF personnel were injured in north Kashmir’s Sopore area when suspected militants hurled grenade on a security installation.

“The militants lobbed a grenade at the CRPF camp house in Plazza Hotel at Bus stand Sopore,” said a police spokesman in Srinagar.

The grenade was hurled in the morning and no civilian injuries were reported in the militant attack.

The five injured CRPF personals were identified as as Mohammad Razaq Khan, Anil Kumar, Sia Ram, Javid Khan and Rajah Kumar.

“All the injured personals were shifted to district hospital Sopore. Razaq Khan and Anil Kumar have been referred to SKIMS Soura in Srinagar,” said the police spokesman.
