Five persons arrested for murder in J&K

Five persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of a youth in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, reports police.

Five persons have been arrested on Friday in connection with the murder of a youth in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

The deceased was allegedly attacked by the five accused with sticks and rods during a clash that erupted in a marriage party at Gandli in Reasi district on May 2, police said adding the victim later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

The five accused, who went underground soon after the incident, were nabbed during a raid in the district, they said.

They have been identified as Sansar Singh,Ankar Singh, Parshotam Singh, Ramesh Singh and Sansar Chand, police said.
