Games quite a hit with children
HUNDREDS of children played tambola at the Kids Karnival at Treasure Island on Monday. The children were quite happy to play tambola at the anchor?s call and were happier after receiving gifts and toys as prizes.
HUNDREDS of children played tambola at the Kids Karnival at Treasure Island on Monday. The children were quite happy to play tambola at the anchor’s call and were happier after receiving gifts and toys as prizes.
After playing with numbers, the children took the stage and exhibited their dancing skills as part of the talent show activity. Like the previous days, all participants were given prizes on Monday also.
The children equally enjoyed games like pin the tail to Baghira, feed the Baghira, basketball etc in the Karnival. The jungle theme and pictures of Mowgli and other cartoon animals are quite a hit with children and the corner with these cartoons remains the most sought after one.
The special offer of a meal at Pizza Hut or Sagar Ratna for Rs 75 and free entry to the Karnival would continue on all the days till the event lasts.
Two new activities have been added to the daily shows in the Karnival. According to Manisha Kalani, enthusiasm of parents who come with their children encouraged her to include some programmes for them too. The ‘Granny-Grandpa Rock’ programme will be held at 6.00 pm on September 30. Here, the grandparents accompanying the children will perform on stage. Prizes like movie tickets, gift hampers and vouchers will be in store for them. The Nach Baliye contest for parents will be another event in this category. It will be held at 6.00 pm on October 1.
