If driving around Delhi has become drudgery, with the city all gouged out and under construction for the October games, it’s time to chase the monsoon for an adrenaline rush. Take your two-wheeler or four wheeler and head to Jaipur for ‘The Monsoon Ride - 2010’ on August 1. Anyone with a vehicle and a licence can take part. Insurance is also necessary. There is a separate segment for women participants.

In its second edition this year, organised by Western Motorsports club, this JK Tyre-sponsored rally will be flagged off from Jal Mahal in Jaipur.

The format of the rally is TSD — Time, Speed, Distance. It requires the participants to maintain precise time and average speed on various segments of the 400 km route. From Jaipur the rally goes to Alwar. It then proceeds to Manoharpura and from there the participants return to Jaipur via Raisar.
