Global gluttony: Food from 28 countries awaits
This annual charity event that will be held today could not have had a more apt title. The Oberoi Melting Pot 2012, which the hotel hosts along with The Consular Corps in Mumbai and The Rotary Club of Bombay, will bring together the cultures of 28 countries.
This annual charity event that will be held today could not have had a more apt title. The Oberoi Melting Pot 2012, which the hotel hosts along with The Consular Corps in Mumbai and The Rotary Club of Bombay, will bring together the cultures of 28 countries.
Funds from the event will be donated to four charities — Apne Aap Women’s Collective, Khushi, Muktangan and Mary’s Clan. We speak to four consul generals on what to sample from their countries’ cuisines.
