"The government has been ignoring the non-migrant Kashmiri pandits who have lived in the Valley throughout the period of turmoil," A K Rajpori, president of the Hindu Welfare Society, said in a statement.

Rajpori accused the government of ignoring the Valley-based Pandits while forming schemes and plans for rehabilitation of the community.

He mentioned the exclusion of non-migrants from the Prime Minister's job package for Kashmiri Pandit youth.

He said the Society will launch a Satyagrah (indefinite fast) if the government did not pay special attention towards the Kashmiri Pandits living in the Valley.
