Under the scheme christened "Pandit Deen Dayal Kisan Samridihi Yojna poly house project", farmers will get 80 per cent subsidy on the project cost," he said. "28,080 poly houses will be constructed under the project," Dhumal said while addressing a public meeting at Kandaghat in Solan district.
Water efficient drip handpumps, mini and micro irrigation projects have also been included under the project. Stating that his government was committed to the welfare of the weaker sections of society, the CM said the social security pension had been enhanced from Rs 300 to Rs 330 per month with effect from January one this year.
