Haryana government clarifies on invitation to Bhupinder Singh Hooda

Responding to the statement of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda that he was not invited for the swearing-in ceremony of chief minister and ministers held at Panchkula, a spokesman of the Haryana government clarified that the office of deputy commissioner, Rohtak, had delivered the invitation card at his residence on Saturday.

Besides, one chair was exclusively reserved for the outgoing chief minister on the dais. The spokesperson said his name also figured among the dignitaries who were to receive the Prime Minister at the Chandigarh airport.
