The department acted on complaints of parents who complained to the deputy commissioner, Faridabad, a few days ago that some schools had withheld results of their wards because they had not yet paid enhanced fees.

“Yes, I have sent notices to the private schools, directing them to release results of the students at the earliest,” District Education Officer, Faridabad, D.N. Yadav said.

He said if the schools do not release the results of these students and deny them admission in higher classes, the department may not hesitate to recommend withdrawal of their no-objection cetificates.

The aggrieved parents under the leadership of N.L. Jangid, president, Abibavak Ekta Manch, Faridabad, approached Deputy Commissioner Praveen Kumar, Police Commissioner and District educational authorities, urging then to act against the dictatorial

attitude of some schools for withholding results of many students.
