The prosecution and the defence concluded their arguments on Wednesday.
A special court at Bhandara, set up by the state for speedy trial in the case, had found eight of the 11 accused guilty of killing Surekha Bhotmange, her daughter, Priyanka, and sons, Sudhir and Roshan. Six of the accused were sentenced to death while two were given life imprisonment.
Three of the accused were acquitted. The accused challenged the conviction, but the Central Bureau of Investigation, which investigated the case, filed an appeal for enhancement of sentence.
