The LIFW is on, and the Prada parade off the ramp is as exciting as the drama on the runway. The top prize this year surely goes to Sheetal Mafatlal, the Mumbai socialite who was spotted flaunting a rainbow-hued Versace top. "I love Versace?s over-the-top sense of style," she says.
The LIFW is on, and the Prada parade off the ramp is as exciting as the drama on the runway. The top prize this year surely goes to Sheetal Mafatlal, the Mumbai socialite who was spotted flaunting a rainbow-hued Versace top. "I love Versace’s over-the-top sense of style," she says.
Like Mafatlal, jewellery designer and Imperial Garden owner Queenie Dhody also loves Versace. Dhody, who was seen sporting a fitted top with plunging neckline and a Versace skirt, says: "You can't beat the Italians when it comes to styling, and Versace rocks."
Leggy model Shonal Rawat's favorites are denim and lycra short skirts. Shonal's theory: "If you have nice legs, flaunt them." Model Sampada Inamdar also favours mini skirts: "They're trendy and comfortable, perfect for day wear as well
as night out." MTV veejay Anusha Dandekar donned a stylish white tee she picked from Topshop, London, with a buckled mini skirt from Japan. "Minis are in vogue," she declares.
Mumbai based Manish Malhotra's former assistant and now protégé Surily Goel, who recently launched her own label, came in a Chloe off-shoulder top. "Just team it with a sexy Chanel bag," she says. Anju Taraporwala looked spunky in a baby pink Via Spiga. "Add a Louis Vuitton, and heads will turn," she smiles.
