Heavy rain hampers India, New Zealand T20 practice session

Heavy overnight rains in Visakhapatnam on Thursday hampered the practice sessions of T20 cricket teams - India and New Zealand.
Both the teams were scheduled to go for a practice at the nets at the ACA-VDCA stadium in Pothinamallayyapalem but due to incessant rains, the organisers cancelled the practice session of both the teams, which were confined to their rooms at the Grand Bay hotel, where they are put up.
As per the original schedule, the Kiwis had to go for practice from 10 am-1pm while the Indians were to hit the net from 2pm -5pm, ACA sources said.
The Indian and New Zealand cricket teams arrived in Visakhapatnam on Thursday for their first T20 tie on Saturday.
