Holiday declared on Jul 27 for employees in Telangana

The Commissioner of Labour, Andhra Pradesh, today declared a paid holiday to all the employees or workers employed in various shops and establishments in the areas where byelections are scheduled to be held on July 27.

The Commissioner of Labour, Andhra Pradesh, on Sunday declared a paid holiday to all the employees or workers employed in various shops and establishments in the areas where byelections are scheduled to be held on July 27.

The Commissioner requested all the concerned employers to allow their employees take a paid holiday on July 27, when the polling is scheduled to be held.

The bypolls to be held in 12 assembly seats, have been necessitated as the sitting MLAs had quit their posts in support of separate Telangana demand.
