Security forces today detected an IED and later defused it on Doda-Batote highway at Assar area, 150 kms from Jammu.
The IED was detected at Assar on Doda-Batote highway on Tuesday afternoon and traffic was immediately stopped, they said, adding the Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the spot and defused the device.
