Since my childhood, I was very concerned about the environment and I knew that when I would grow up I would do something to safeguard our natural resources.

Keeping this in mind, I decided to become an environmental engineer, who addresses water and air pollution control, waste disposal, recycling, forestation, and public health issues but destiny had something else in store.

Two years ago, my Class 12 board results left me disappointed. With 62%, my dreams of securing admission in Delhi University were shattered.

Fortunately, my father had not given up on me. He boosted my morale and asked me to check out other academic options. It was this faith and confidence of my father that got me going.

I had also applied for diploma in pharmacy at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Pushp Vihar (formerly known as College of Pharmacy).

Though the entrance was tough, by god's grace I made to the third list. With my family's support and helpful friends in the college, I topped the class last year. Once I am done with my course, I am hopeful that I will do Bpharma so that I am equipped to take up a good job in this fast growing sector.

Besides, positive approach and hard work are the keys of success. If you have a liking for a particular subject, then don't forget to check out all the possible career options. Always remember when god closes a door, he opens a window.
