One person picked up by the Karnataka police team in Chennai, has been taken to Bangalore for questioning in connection with the December 28 terror attack on the Indian Institute of Science, a top police official said.

The Karnataka police team probing the case took one Basheer with them to Bangalore on Thursday afternoon, City Police Commissioner R Natraj said.
Basheer was questioned on Wednesday night, he said.
Basheer was questioned at the Chindadripet Police station for over 10 hours, police said adding, the police team also met the Commissioner before taking Basheer to Bangalore.
Basheer, the sources said, knew only Urdu and Kannada. The team was also assisted by the city police personnel, including some intelligence officers.
Police had earlier denied that two persons had been arrested in the city in connection with the attack.
The Karnataka police team, led by a Deputy Commissioner of Police, had arrived in Chennai on Wednesday.
