The prize ceremony in Stockholm was attended by Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz, who is leading an official delegation to the 16th World Water Week being held in that city during August 23-26.

During his stay in Sweden, Soz had several meetings with key institutions dealing with issues related to water management and technologies. These include the Earth Institute of Technology and Waste Water Treatment Plan for Stockholm.

His interaction with these institutions has led to great interest in India in collaborative research and involvement with capacity building for better management of water-related institutions, said a release from the Indian embassy in Stockholm.
