Vigilance unit of the state police's Special Investigation Cell registered the case yesterday against Parliamentary Secretary Kumar Waii, Tourism Director A K Singh and former Tourism Secretary Amar Nath after an FIR was filed by All Arunachal Pradesh RTI Activists' Organisation against the trio a few days ago.
The organisation accused the three of misusing their official power in making illegal appointments in the tourism department in 2009.
The Investigation Cell has deputed DSP R Monpa to investigate the case.
