Om Prakash Chautala said that a new Central govt cannot be formed without his support, and that both the Congress and the BJP would suffer "massive defeats."
Haryana Chief Minister and INLD president Om Prakash Chautala said on Saturday that a new Central government cannot be formed without his support, and that both the Congress and the BJP would suffer "massive defeats" in the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a public meeting at village Nadha Sahib, near Chandigarh, before starting his`Vijay Rath Yatra', Chautala said the new Government at the Centre would be formed with the support of the INLD.
He said the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal would be got completed.
Chautala alleged that neither the BJP nor the Congress ever took interest in the welfare of the farmers, the poor and the labourers.
"While these parties always safeguarded the interests of the capitalists, the INLD always advocated the cause of the farming community and the weaker sections of the society", he said.
