Alongside will be international rapper Pitbull who was roped in after singer Jennifer Lopez's act was axed. All the stars will share the 300-feet-long stage, whose look will change every ten minutes, organisers say.

The ceremony is being held at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium, and will inaugurated by the Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee. Perhaps the Tagore touch has been added keeping in mind Banerjee’s penchant for Rabindra Sangeet.

HT's calls to Red Chillies Entertainment went unanswered at the time of filing this report.
