ISDC students firm on CBI probe

ISWAR SARAN Degree College (ISDC) students? union president Vishal Shukla continued a relay fast in support of students? demands on the 35th day here on Sunday. A CBI inquiry into alleged irregularities in the college is one of their 17 demands. Later, a meeting was held at the ISDC student?s union hall under the presidentship of student leader Durgesh Shukla.

ISWAR SARAN Degree College (ISDC) students’ union president Vishal Shukla continued a relay fast in support of students’ demands on the 35th day here on Sunday. A CBI inquiry into alleged irregularities in the college is one of their 17 demands. Later, a meeting was held at the ISDC student’s union hall  under the presidentship of student leader Durgesh Shukla.

Shukla denounced irregularities in the college and said the students would continue their protest against the college management. ISDC students’ union vice-president Ashutosh Tripathi said students would intensify their protest if the college management failed to appoint a new principal and consider other demands.

Those present on the occasion were Adesh Shukla, Ravindra Yadav, Munna Shukla, Dheeraj, Umesh Tiwari, Krishna Kumar Tripathi, Dheeraj Tripathi, Nandan Mishra and Pawan Mishra among others.

Student leader ‘assaulted’

ALLAHABAD DEGREE College (ADC) students accused some teachers of the college of assaulting students’ union president Priyadarshi Tripathi here on Saturday.

The students charged the college authorities with charging the full fee from Scheduled Caste candidates in violation of norms. The students said that some teachers assaulted Tripathi as he attempted to meet the principal in this regard.
The students staged a demonstration at the college and raised slogans against the administration. The students later lodged an FIR against teachers at the Kydganj police station. They threatened to intensify their agitation if the college authorities failed to take action against the teachers.

Those present on the occasion were Vivek Tripathi, Sandeep Tripathi, Narendra Singh Patel, Amit Gupta, Naveen Mishra, Sonu Pandey, Sunil Shukla, Hari Singh and Yujvendra Pratap Singh among others.
