Israel successfully tested its Arrow anti-missile system late on Sunday in the first after-dark trial, Haaretz Daily reported.

The Arrow missile destroyed the target, a warhead similar to Iran's Shihab-3. The system, being developed together with the US, is built to intercept ballistic missiles.

Sunday's test was the 15th by Israel over the years. The overwhelming majority of tests of the Arrow system have been successful.
