The Israeli army carried out a raid in the west of the Gaza strip late on Monday night, hours after a Palestinian suicide bombing in Tel Aviv, a security source and witnesses said.

Israelis fired several missiles on a metal factory in the Zeitoun neighbourhood, the sources said, adding that there were no known victims but that there was considerable material damage.
The Israeli army has in the past carried out several attacks on the factory, claiming home-made rockets were assembled there by militant Palestinian groups.
Nine people and the suicide bomber were killed and dozens of others wounded in Tel Avivon on Monday, claimed by Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad.
