IT Department not targeting me: Amitabh

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has said he did not think that he was being targeted by the IT department.

In his first comments on the row over Income Tax department reportedly issuing notices to him, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has said he did not think that he was being targeted by the IT department.

"I don't think so. The IT department is a very respectable government agency and they are doing their job," Bachchan told a TV channel when asked if he thought that the Income Tax department was targeting him or carrying on a campaign against him.

"My job is to respond to them and that is what I am doing," the actor said.
