"More than 200 trucks carrying different varieties of fruits have been moving from the valley to the outside mandis daily," secretary, Horticulture, Sanjeev Verma, said.

The mandis which were affected due to floods have started the trading, he said, adding, on the request of the state government, Delhi's Azadpur fruit mandi has remained open on Sunday for receiving supplies from Kashmir.

He said full support will be given to the fruit-growers so that they are able to transport the produce to the mandis outside the state.

The assessment of loss to the fruit crops has already been started, he said.
