Around 2,50,702 girls have been benefited so far under this scheme introduced two years back, of which 58,424 girls belong to Jabalpur division, they said.
Chhindwara in Jabalpur divison has topped in the implemenation of this scheme among the districts and as many as 16,402 girls in this place have been benefited under it, they added.
Indore division with 41,565 beneficiaries stood second in the implementation of the scheme, followed by Sagar (27,732), Ujjain (27,527), Bhopal (24,435), Gwalior (17,012) Rewa ( 16,197), Narmadapuram (14,558), Shahdol (11,810) and Chambal division (11,442), official sources said.
District-wise, Jabalpur stood second with with 11,114 beneficiaries followed by Dhar (10,359), Indore (10,241), Chhatarpur (8,808), Betul (8,626), Balaghat (7,854), Satna (7,708), Sagar (6,890) and Bhopal district (6,818).
