An Executive Engineer of Northern Railways was arrested by CBI for allegedly demanding bribe of Rs 10,000, sources said in Jammu.
Bharat Bushan Mittal was arrested last night by the CBI on a complaint filed by a railway contractor S Jasrotia who told the investigating team that Mittal was demanding bribe of Rs 10,000 for clearing the bills for work done on double track of railways.
The CBI team, which was led by Additional SP (CBI) KL Raina, also recovered some documents and cash from Mittal’s residence.
