This was announced by SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav while addressing a meeting of the party block presidents and Panchayat members on Thursday.

Bye-elections to the two Rajya Sabha seats vacated by the disqualification of Jaya Bachhan and resignation of industrialist Anil Ambani would be held on June 15.

Questioning Jaya's disqualification, Yadav said she did not accept a "single penny" as Chairperson of the State Film Development Corporation.

He said the Centre should have brought the Bill on the Office of Profit before her disqualification.

Jaya had on Wednesday resigned as Chairperson of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Corporation. She would be filing her nomination papers on June two next.

She had resigned from the UPFDC chair earlier before being elected to the Upper House of Parliament on an SP ticket on July 4, 2004 but was reappointed to the post ten days later.

The actress was disqualified from RS on March 16 following a petition before the Election Commission accusing her of holding an Office of Profit as Chairperson of the corporation.
