The code-share agreement enables Air France to market flights under AF flight numbers to key Indian cities beyond Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. KLM will place its marketing code (KL) on Jet Airways’ domestic flights to four major cities in India beyond Delhi, allowing customers to travel seamlessly to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai via Delhi.

Meanwhile, after slumping over 12% in morning trade, shares of Jet Airways settled with gains of 1.56% on Bombay Stock Exchange. The stock got hammered in early trade, the first trading day after Friday, when the Foreign Investment Promotion Board deferred a decision on the R2,000-crore Jet-Etihad agreement and sought clarity on control and ownership.
