Jury for Ambedkar Award set up

STATE GOVERNMENT has constituted a jury for recommending names for Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Memorial Award for the year 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06.

Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Jagdish Dewda will be chairman of the jury. Other members of the jury include vice chancellor of Dr B R Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow, Prof G Nancharaiyya, Prof P G Jogdand of Vindanagri University Mumbai, Prof S N Chaudhary of Barkatullah University, Bhopal and Principal Secretary, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department. The term of the jury will be two years.
