Kazmi assures women lawyers

ADVOCATE-GENERAL OF Uttar Pradesh SMA Kazmi has assured maximum representation would be given to women lawyers in the panel of state counsels at Allahabad High Court.
Kazmi was addressing a programme organised by the women’s wing of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association at Coronila Sorabji hall on the high court premises on Thursday.
The programme was presided over by Justice Poonam Srivastava of Allahabad High Court and was conducted by Sarita Singh, president of the women’s wing.
Secretary of the High Court Bar Association Rakesh Pandey demanded maximum representation for lawyers in the panel of state counsels.
State Counsel Subhash Rathi welcomed Kazmi and the vote of thanks was proposed by Shanti Shukla.
Others present included senior vice-president of HCBA Mamta Maurya, vice-president of HCBA Anuradha Sundaram, Members of Governing Council of HCBA Pushpa Singh, Vineeta Jaisawal, advocates- Saraswati Rai, Nushat Parveen, Raj Luxmi, Ima Singh, Anjna Singh, Ritambhara Mishra, Alpana Dwivedi and others.
Appointed: Advocate of the Allahabad High Court, RK Shukla, has been appointed as Nagar Palika Parishad, Badaun.
A notification issued by the Parishad stated Shukla would appear on behalf of Nagar Palika Parishad, Badaun, in the court proceedings of Allahabad High Court.
