An efficient wicketkeeper his has been a face which has graced the Kenyan team for a decade or so.

His finest knock came in 1997 when he scored 144 against Bangladesh, adding a then world-record 225 for the first wicket with Deepak Chuasama.

He has been instrumental in most of the Kenyan victories and especially noticeable for his contributions in leading the team to the 2003 World Cup semi final.

He significant contributions include as superb knock of 60 in against Sri Lanka and 79 in the Super Six deafeat against India.
