Kohili Ganguly leads in women?s rifle free position

KOHILI GANGULY of CISF on Tuesday led the table with 579 points in the 50-m women?s Rifle Free Position event in the National Shooting Competition being held at BSF Reoti Range.

KOHILI GANGULY of CISF on Tuesday led the table with 579 points in the 50-m women’s Rifle Free Position event in the National Shooting Competition being held at BSF Reoti Range.

The other shooters’ point tally: Tejaswini Sawant of Maharashtra was second with 574 points, while Rajkumari from Army was third with 573 points.

She was followed by Anuja Jang (with 573 points), Meena Kumari (with 570 points), Deepali Deshpande (with 567 points), Anjali Bhagawat (with 563 points), Avnit Kaur Siddhu (with 562 points), Roma Sirur (with 561 points) and Birmati (561 points).

In the 50-m Rifle Free Position, N Seni Devi of Manipur topped the table with 563 points, while Sharada Thapa of Indian Airlines was second with 559 points. Annu Tomar of Uttar Pradesh was third with 553 points. The finals will be held on Wednesday.
