Kumble wants more in Bangalore

After ripping through Pakistan at Kolkata, ace leg-spinner Anil Kumble on Monday indicated that he wanted to be even more devastating at his home ground in the third and final cricket Test against Pakistan starting on Thursday.

"Hopefully, I will do better than what I did (in the second Test at Kolkata)," he said.

Kumble claimed seven for 63 in the second innings on Sunday as India recorded a thumping 195-run victory in the Kolkata Test to take a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series.

Earlier, Pakistan had staged a brilliant fight back to draw the first Test in Mohali after India threatened to pull off a win.

"It always feels good to win. It's a good feeling to go one-up in the series," he said on the sidelines of a function in Bangalore. "It's definitely nice to do well against good teams."

Kumble, who now has tally of 460 wickets in 94 Tests said he did not feel any added pressure going into the final Test which begins at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday.

"There will always be pressure while playing for India. The Bangalore Test will be no different," he said.
