Labroo joins as Sirmaur DC

Vikas Labroo, HAS officer of the 1988-batch, on Thursday joined as the 39th deputy commissioner of Sirmaur, replacing Priyatu Mandal.

Earlier, Labroo was serving as the director of urban development.The newly appointed deputy commissioner, Labroo, has also served as additional divisional magistrate (ADM) from May 1999 to May 2001 and additional deputy commissioner (ADC) from March 2012 to January 2013.

The deputy commissioner said to speed up the policies and schemes of the government would be his priority. He added that a direct dialogue with people would be on top of his list. The DC said he had spent several years in the district therefore he knows the geographical condition and problems of the district.
