Ahead of the first-ever summit of India, Brazil and South Africa, leaders from the three countries met on Wednesday to discuss UN reforms, terrorism, West Asia situation as also WTO issues.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Brazilian President Lula da Silva and South African President Thabo Mbeki held wide-ranging parleys on other important issues covering nuclear disarmament, peaceful use of nuclear energy and cooperation in biofuel and agriculture.
A free trade agreement among the three countries is high on the agenda. An action plan for trade facilitation is expected to be drawn up.
