Lightning claims 4 lives in Ghazipur

LIGHTNING AMID moderate rainfall claimed four lives, including three kids, at different places in Ghazipur district on Saturday. As per information, an 8-year-old girl Suman, daughter of Triloki Ram, died due to lightning at Parmanadpur village under the Jangipur police station on Saturday whereas two 15-year-old boys Raju and Niranjan were killed by lightning at Asmani Chak village under the Kotwali police station.

As per information, an 8-year-old girl Suman, daughter of Triloki Ram, died due to lightning at Parmanadpur village under the Jangipur police station on Saturday whereas two 15-year-old boys Raju and Niranjan were killed by lightning at Asmani Chak village under the Kotwali police station. They got fainted and later their parents rushed them to the hospital for treatment.

A 25-year-old woman Munia died due to lightning at Mustafabad village under the Baresar police station on Saturday when she was trying to escape from the drizzling. Similarly, a 55-year-old lady Shahzadi received burns injuries due to lightning near Khanpur market. Later, she was admitted to Community Health Center for treatment.

In an another incident of lightning, two kids were died at Ramvan village under the Bhudkuda police station. The deceased kids were identified as Dharmesh Chauhan, son of Bhefu Chauhan, and Pinki.

Three drowned: Three persons including two saints were drowned in the on two different ghats in Ganga here on Sunday.

Two saints died at the Khirkia ghat, while a youth at the Bhaisasur ghat under the Adampur police station. Police fished out their bodies.
