Stating that Hyderabad was an important region for the entire country, and a role-model for leaps in Information Technology, Mukherjee said that it was important for the sake of the nation both states had an amicable relationship with one another.
"We can choose our friends but we can't choose our neighbours," he said. The President was speaking at an event where he received the first copy of a book by Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao.
