In a major haul of skins of wild animals, three persons were arrested here with 45 leopard skins and 14 of otters worth Rs 40 lakh in the international market, police said today.

In a major haul of skins of wild animals, three persons were arrested here with 45 leopard skins and 14 of otters worth Rs 40 lakh in the international market, police said today.
Anand alias Tishi, Lobsang Phuntsok and Jeet Bahadur Damang, who hailed from Nepal, were held in Timarpur area in north Delhi yesterday.
They confessed that they had obtained the skins from Sansar Singh, wanted in many cases of poaching.
The skins were to be taken to Nepal by the accused who stored and smuggled the skins across the border.
