A fast-track court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering an eyewitness in the district in Muzaffarnagar.
Judge A K Kanhotiya on Friday sentenced Shobhram to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.
According to prosecution, Shobram shot dead Sushil Kumar (22), an eyewitness of his father's murder, when the latter refused to withdraw his case against those guilty at Bhora Khurd village.
Shobharam, is one of the four named in the FIR lodged by Sushil's mother after his father's murder.
